“CARE AND SHARE” is a community service BABY DOLL PROJECT created by Renée Gauthier of the Ottawa Doll and Collectors Guild.

During the past six years, the Guild has collected, cleaned, repaired, dressed and placed over 300 baby-sized dolls with long term care patients in the Ottawa area. Nurturing these "babies" is particularly beneficial to Alzheimers patients.

This project requires your support. Suitable baby dolls are becoming very difficult for us to find. We need soft bodied, gently used, life-size baby dolls. We do not charge for this service, therefore, donated dolls are very much appreciated.

For information or pick-up, please contact Carolyn Wells at the:

Nepean Museum,
16 Rowley Ave., Nepean ON
(613) 723 - 7936

or email

educationservices@nepeanmuseum.on.ca

Carolyn will forward your message to the appropriate guild member.
